Quick stop at the sky team lounge to see what was there and to use the bathrooms. A shower was a queue away (electronic tags like you sometimes see in restaurants). Butt lo, (literally) the toilets can freshen your nethers with sprays and blasts of cool air.
We the found lockers to stash our hand luggage, and went for a walk about. Lots of fashion type shops and food of the fast food variety, duty free style shops, some pharmacy shops and even what looked like a plastic surgery clinic.
Half way around the terminal we encountered a re-enactment of Korean royals of old with guards and weapons on a tour.
Back to lounge for a quick check of the departure boards.
The 2nd leg from Seoul to Auckland was on another Boeing; this time on my favourite 😃a 747! Nicely kitted out and totally different from any British Airways or Qantas flight I've been on.
And we got to board by the front doors.
All the pods face forward on this layout, the ones by the windows are staggered though so you can't talk too easily. I had to lean forward to talk to Karen. Nice meal, I had the Korean option, served with steel chopsticks.
