I am writing this on the 14th of Jan. Wednesday seems like a month ago already.
We got up latish, and walked down to see Matt and Teresa. Matt wanted to go for a hike so I opted to join him. And Karen went for the beach with Teresa and the kids.
Matt and I headed down (up? North anyway) the coast in our car to the end of the beach, near the next holiday park, to take a cliff top hike to the next beach along the coast; not accessible by road.
On the way there we had the place pretty much to ourselves, but on the way back we started meeting people heading there.
We got a text on the way back from Teresa asking for food picking up, so we hit the Four square at Wahei on the way back.
In the afternoon we did some more beach, I think this is where I picked up a bump on the shoulder, body surfing without a rash vest.
Big wave dumped me quite hard on the beach!
Then we started and finished a litre of ice cream with bananas and played Mahjong until bed time.
